Jeanette and Mike met through mutual friends. He was fraternity brothers with Ed. And Jessica, whom Ed was dating, was Jeanette’s best friend. Spending the day with these two on Monument Avenue and at the Virginia Center for Architecture, it was easy to see how it was only a matter of time that their hearts would find their way to one another. They had an easy way with each other. And even though Mike claims he isn’t the biggest fan of PDA, he sure could have fooled me! I really try to focus on making engagement sessions feel natural and ‘real’ for each of my couples, by focusing on interaction between the couples and encouraging real moments. These two just made it so easy! They were already so comfortable with each other, and I can’t wait to be in the presence of this same cozy love in August when they say ‘I Do’ at Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond, VA! (A place especially near and dear to my heart, as it’s the building I studied for an entire year while doing my thesis for grad school! It’s going to be amazing!!).
