  • Hi there and welcome!

I am a photographer based in Northern VA, specializing in Interiors, Brands, and capturing the love of a family on medium format film. Having earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and being a photographer for 8 years, I’ve been able to blend my love for capturing a feeling through an image with my love for spaces, people, and stories. Whether it’s the feeling of being inside a beautifully designed place, the feeling of a brand’s story and how it draws people in, or the feeling of a 3 year old’s tiny arms wrapped around their mother and the impossible joy felt at hearing their sweet giggle, my heart connects with each one of these and translates it into imagery that has soul and evokes emotion. I believe in telling a story, beautiful light, gratitude, and always seeing the beauty in life and in others.

It’s been 5 years since Rob and I were married on 06.07.08, and to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary, we are shipping off to France for the week! We are so excited to explore this country together for the first time, stopping in Paris first, then traveling to the south of France. We can’t wait for the adventures we will surely have! Follow our journey on Instagram with #060708celebrate (our very first ‘event’ hashtag)! 🙂

To my husband of 5 years, partner of 10, I am in a business where I take pictures of fairy tales coming true right before my eyes. You have shown me that it’s in the real, everyday moments – the smiles, the laughs…the trials, the triumphs…the good times and the bad – that happily ever after lives. And for that, I am thankful. Here’s to the next 5 years…(and add a zero to that, too). 😉

Monument Ave Engagement SessionMonument Ave Engagement SessionMonument Ave Engagement SessionJeanette and Mike met through mutual friends. He was fraternity brothers with Ed. And Jessica, whom Ed was dating, was Jeanette’s best friend. Spending the day with these two on Monument Avenue and at the Virginia Center for Architecture, it was easy to see how it was only a matter of time that their hearts would find their way to one another. They had an easy way with each other. And even though Mike claims he isn’t the biggest fan of PDA, he sure could have fooled me! I really try to focus on making engagement sessions feel natural and ‘real’ for each of my couples, by focusing on interaction between the couples and encouraging real moments. These two just made it so easy! They were already so comfortable with each other, and I can’t wait to be in the presence of this same cozy love in August when they say ‘I Do’ at Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond, VA! (A place especially near and dear to my heart, as it’s the building I studied for an entire year while doing my thesis for grad school! It’s going to be amazing!!).
