  • Hi there and welcome!

    I am a photographer based in Northern VA, specializing in Interiors, Brands, and capturing the love of a family on medium format film. Having earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and being a photographer for 8 years, I’ve been able to blend my love for capturing a feeling through an image with my love for spaces, people, and stories. Whether it’s the feeling of being inside a beautifully designed place, the feeling of a brand’s story and how it draws people in, or the feeling of a 3 year old’s tiny arms wrapped around their mother and the impossible joy felt at hearing their sweet giggle, my heart connects with each one of these and translates it into imagery that has soul and evokes emotion. I believe in telling a story, beautiful light, gratitude, and always seeing the beauty in life and in others.

Li-Pei and John are a beautiful couple and they are expecting a baby. The little guy is sure to be smart and creative – his mom is an Interior Designer and his dad is an Architect! He is also sure to be extremely loved. Spending time with them in Central Park, I could see how excited and happy these two were to become parents, and I know they will be amazing! And how cute is Li-Pei? She is glowing and wearing heels – enough said!

Brianna and Jeff are in love. CRAZY in love (Beyoncé style). I heard through the grapevine these two were so adorable and affectionate together, or in the words of one of her bridesmaids “sickeningly cute”, but they exceeded my expectations tenfold. The love you see in these images – REAL. The cuddles, the kisses, the ‘I love you so much’ gazes – oh yeah, 100% authentic. When you spend time with a couple like this you cant help but get wrapped up in the warm and fuzzy feeling of their love. It spilled over from them and had me smiling, giggling and saying “seriously stop it, you are killing me” oh…about 100 times during our session.

Everything about their love story is so meant-to-be. Listening to their journey, you can tell they ‘just knew’ from the begining, and that nothing – not years, or the miles between Colorado and Virginia, or anything else – would stand in their way. Being around them filled my heart right up. It made everything just a little more right in this world, and I can’t wait to be around this magic again in May when they say ‘I Do’. Their Virginia Cliffe Inn wedding is sure to be amazing! You can SEE how much they love each other in these images, and I am so incredibly honored to be in the presence of this love and tell their story on their wedding day!
